They say everything is bigger in Texas...well that seems to hold true for birding as well. We had a really big day today. We saw 157 species in 12 hours today. We averaged 13 new species every hour...now that is a good day!

Back on the I-10, the boys surfed the local radio stations, did a bit of singing and took in the sites on both sides of the interstate while we inched closer to New Orleans over the next few hours.
