Beautiful views of Alnwick Castle as we left. Took the A1 to Scotland. Drove through Edinburgh but couldn't find a park (GPS takes you to the centre and we needed to do more research). So decided to drive on up to St. Andrews over the Forth Bridge. Once there, parked in the Main Street and found a little cafe for lunch. While walking through the town came across the Russell hotel at ...

I spent the morning catching up with Susan before Ralph and Gav came over. After breakfast we headed out for a nice walk before ...

Although a little overwhelmed at first, Dean quickly settled in to comfortable conversation with his 2nd cousins.

    Blair Athol to St Andrews

The first stop of today was Dalwhinnie Distillery! At 10am in the morning it's never too early to have some scotch! This was the best tour because we got to keep the Dalwhinnie glasses at the end of the tour, which if you had to buy cost 5 pound, and it had chocolate too. The tour guide then told us that there were highland games going on in the next town over so we headed to check it out. We were there too early but we got ...
