... buildings, beautifully crafted churches, functional yet somewhat dour like the people they spawned. But their longevity and fitness for use, speak to me more about why this tiny national has left such a mark on global development. We wind our way to Brechin in pursuit of Sir Robert's edifice and are not disappointed. Its not quite Churchill on a plinth but it is rather remarkable and celebrates the achievement of the man from Brechin who pioneered Radar and was ...

There are not many of them and with Noel under doctors orders to consume as much water as possible, he has had to resort to peeing in some of the strangest places imaginable but being a very careful individual, he has not yet been sprung.

About 10:00 we grabbed a taxi to head back home to our Guest House and call it a night. Deb and John had plans for 9 holes of golf at St. Andrews and Deb and Wayne were going to do some hunting of Debra's Scottish ancestors. So off to bed we went for another day of adventuring tomorrow.

... I'd skip this paragraph. The bus timetable which I had indicated that a bus would leave Edinburgh at 0835, arriving in Dundee at 1020. At 0830 I could find no evidence that such a bus existed. The X54 had left at 0810, due in at Dundee at 1035; the next was at 0910, due at 1135 - that was three hours away. As I contemplated the 40 minute wait I noticed the X59 about to depart for St Andrews; this was the bus I had used on Day ...
