Well, no more rain last night but it was nice and cool. It was a little windy this morning, but it is a nice tradeoff. The weather in Maricopa is supposed to be windy and dusty today, so staying here an extra day should work out well.

It was a somewhat lazy morning but I did get up earlier than normal. That early sunrise will do that. Harley was in no hurry to do anything either. I headed to the office this morning after breakfast to pay for another ...

... off of the tray and slid it out so I could crawl in to see what the problem was.

I watched for a while and looked at the fittings and did not see where it was coming from. I watched closer and then realized that the tank had a crack in the fresh water tank. I guess it has been leaking for at least a day with the amount of water that was on the floor.

... strong to send in any of the Hotshots to battle the blaze. It was only a year ago we lost all those brave souls in the Yarnell fire, so I was glad to hear they are using good common sense and not risking any lives with this one.

We played charades last night and I almost peed my pants watching Roy act out Michael Jackson and Barack Obama. (Those big ears of his helped him pull off Barack so ...

... temps at about 84 degrees and a nice breeze. Roy may have lost to Eric on the Deer Hunter game last night, but he claims he won the "who can catch the most fish" contest. Two tiny blue gill vs. a big long hunk of lake grass! Lol! An older lady fishing from the other platform had two beautifully sized trout on her lines. Oh well, the day was perfectly lovely and relaxed even if we didn't catch much.
