      Two days in Roanoke.

Surprised Harry at work on Tuesday, Nov 18. *giggling* thanks Matt!! yes, Matt was the one that instigated it. You just can't trust that Cat in the funny hat! LOL
Awesome meeting Harry. What fun! Too bad you can't come out tonight, but at least I got my hug. ;-)

      Dinner tonight at the Summers'.

Strangely, it seemed easier than going down and soon we were back at the parking area. From here, we stopped in Bedford to get a late lunch at El Cazador and then made our way home, actually arriving home at a decent hour for ...

By the time we returned, a couple folks who had eaten at camp had built a nice roaring campfire. The sun had set by now and it was quite chilly, so the fire’s warmth felt good. After socializing for a while around the campfire, we headed to bed ...

One stretch was a divided highway, 2 lanes on either side with practically no traffic. The boulevard in between was grassy and dotted with trees dressed in glorious colours of oranges and yellows, looking like great big bouquets of tightly bunched fall chrysanthemums. Many driveways and front yards had lovely ...

... Am I? Those games are harder than you think I tel you what!
We made it to the camp grounds and were excited to find out it was nicer than the last one - no compost on the ground, so in theory less spiders and icky bugs all through the night. More nature noises which made it more fun, and we weren't camping near a major highway which also added to the realisticness of the situation :).
We set up our tents and had some dinner ...
