Visiting Canada Bethel was not something I expected to fit into this trip...

But when it came up as being very convenient to fly Ashley (my stepson) into Toronto for our three days together it all fell into place.

Departure from Detroit was hectic and delayed by the need I had to write my column for the magazine at home, also I was determined to see some of the devastation ...

We werent keen to queue for that long so we made sure we were there by at least 2.45pm. We thought that surely we would be seated by 3pm for a 3.15pm start so we made sure we grabbed our popcorn, to complete our ...

A little bit of Toronto's all I need...

... day but there were only badly rated ones left anyway. Booking a gryohound proved problematic. What I thought were website issues (it was under maintenance) proved just to be poor design. The website displays all transport options regardless of their availability so I only find out a bus is full after filling in all the payment details. It took four attempts to find a suitable bus. I leave Toronto at 10:30pm and arrive in Chicago at 11:30am. This includes a 2 hour stop over in London ...
