    Great hotel

This hotel is very well located near a Walmart and also a Superstore.

We had a two room executive suite that was huge. The "living room" had a fridge, sink area, flat screen TV, a table and a large desk with lots of plug ins for electronics. Even with the sofa bed open there was lots of room to walk around. This room also had a full bathroom.

The bedroom had a king bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.

we were on the first floor and so it was easy to walk to the laundry room and pool (with slide), both of which were located near the lobby.

Breakfast was offered near the lobby and was the usual hotel breakfast.

We get back to the house in time to pick up Gwen and Jim and get to DDs for the BBQ. We meet Dorothys son Danny. Hes driven 8 hours to be there. He lives up in Prince George and is a welder in the petrochemical industry. Lovely bloke and he cooks all the food. He has a pick-up the size of a house. It was still good to visit the second winery as it gave us another view on what it was like. However by now we had decided we’d had enough wine tasting so we headed in to Kelowna to check in to our hostel before going to spend the late afternoon/early evening on the beach by the lake. The lake was right on the edge of downtown Kelowna, making it very accessible. It was a very pretty area with a modest beach around the one side ...

... table. I felt a bit crook so we went home at 8.30 On Sunday the girls took Amelia out for Sunday doubles at Raaks and Sams. I stayed home curled up in bed. Sad I couldn't be out with everyone! In the morning, since we had 2 pairs of skis, Bree and Amelia went for a ski. Bree managed to find a pair of boots, and it was her first time skiing, she picked it up no worries! I did a bit of work and then napped. Very fatigued and tired from numerous broken nights sleep. Margaret, Simon and Russ have been doing most of the coking which is nice, the rest of us are on clean up duty. We have spent quite a bit of time playing poker using marshmallows as chips but last night we taught Cooper to play Rummy, we didn't bring Uno which is his favorite game. Rob, Cooper and I ended up playing Old Maid and then Fish till quite late, we did have fun.

I did not step outside yet so I cant tell you the temperature. Movie night tonight as the TV has all the latest theatre releases. $5.99 a movie. Tom go make us some popcorn buddy.
