... in the afternoon who were also spending the night. We all enjoyed a fantastic evening in the yard with some of the best pizza in the West, drinks, song and lots of laughs.

Early night....no really it was....up early tomorrow. Going to drive to Cranbrook, BC for the night and then back home on Sunday.

As we thought today was a day for regrouping. Laundry, catch up on the blog and stretching out the butt.

Did some running around late morning and by mid afternoon we were floating in the pool and enjoying the day.

Wie wir von einigen Leuten aus der Schweiz mitbekommen haben, soll es bei euch ja heiss sein. Bei uns war es heute 37 Grad, im Camper hatten wir sogar 42 Grad gemessen! Viel zu heiss also, um etwas zu unternehmen, deshalb verbrachten wir heute fast den ganzen Tag am Campingplatz eigenen Beach am See. Scheinbar der wärmste See in Canada.

... to make it to Oliver for 6pm as Cyndi and Gord had other company and dinner was planned for 6pm. When we started on the 97 is was only about 60 miles from there to Oliver...so why stop....lets just keep going and we'll make it on time. Can you say ouch?

Heute fuhren wir weiter nach Hope. Dort suchten wir vergebens eine Schweizer Bäckerei...
Danach fuhren wir Richtung Manning Provincial Park, in welchem wir eigentlich übernachten wolltern. Leider war war unser bevorzugter Campingplatz voll und wir beschlossen, nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt, weiter nach Osoyoos zu fahren.

We arrived in Kelowna!! British Columbia Kids. The end of the provinces. Unfortunately our "what was supposed to be gorgeous" cross of the Rockies was instead rain and clouds and NOTHING. Pretty ******.. but ah well..

Der letzte halt auf der Tour war in Kelwona, der Weinstadt. Wir haben eine Besichtigung auf einem Weingut gemacht. Und natuerlich auch Wein getestet. Am Abend sind wir schoenen Burgen essen gegangen. Wo ist das ganze Geld geblieben???? Unterwegs haben wir an einem Flohmarkt gehalten. Jeder sollte dem anderen fuer 2 Dollar was lustiges kaufen. Ich habe einen neuen Freund bekommen... Einen Huehnchenrucksack.

... the beach, and sunbathed for a little while until some geese came out of the water and looked like they were going to start attacking us! The hostel had a barbecue laid on that evening, so we sat on the patio and soaked up the last rays of sun. We then headed to Rose's where there was a cover band playing - they were OK but didn't play that many songs we recognised. Although I did have a boogie to Brown Eyed Girl when it came on!
