This hotel is very well located near a Walmart and also a Superstore.

We had a two room executive suite that was huge. The "living room" had a fridge, sink area, flat screen TV, a table and a large desk with lots of plug ins for electronics. Even with the sofa bed open there was lots of room to walk around. This room also had a full bathroom.

The bedroom had a king bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.

we were on the first floor and so it was easy to walk to the laundry room and pool (with slide), both of which were located near the lobby.

Breakfast was offered near the lobby and was the usual hotel breakfast.

We left Vancouver Monday morning headed for Kelowna and a 12 day stay with Rae and Michael at their property on Okanagen Lake. After somewhat of a roller coaster aeroplane ride - in which even the stewardesses remained fastened and seated, we reached Kelowna safely and were greeted by Rae. It is great to have a base for a few days where we can relax, catch up and do some washing. Straight off the plane we ordered Rae to the bottle shop for supplies! Shocked at the lack ...

Ash was off tap, wasn't a sell out but everyone had a ball, crowd surfers and all. Played wheel of fortune and stole meat pies. Went to stiffy and matts and learnt to wax our ...

Ethan, Cooper, Sue and I had a spa before calling it a day. Yes that is Ethan with his hair shaved off, who would shave off your hair before going to the snow? But he looks good. I had to catch up on the blog, there has been too many distractions.

... to prevent rock slides. That was cool to see. Waiting 1/2 hour for them to clear the hwy was not. Lots of farmers in kelowna. Maybe corn, lots of grapes and I bet some of that stuff they call BC Bud. Drivers in BC are friggin crazy. We were stopped at a red light trying to find our way and the light turned green for 3 seconds. We didn't move and people were honking their horns like crazy. So I just sat ...
