We leave early from the hostel and head towards Kelowna, but first a quick stop at Mcdonald's for breakfast to go.
It is a typical fall day, slightly overcast and occasional drizzle falls. The mountains tower around us and clouds hide the tops form view. We have several trails planned for today and have some concerns that the rain …

But the highlight is the goat enclosure with 10 or more goats of every size and colour you can think of. You can buy some corn to feed them (they know people mean food) you can also go into the enclosure and pet them; they even have a skywalk that is built specifically for the goats and that is maybe 15 feet ...

The first stop the bus made was in a town called Hope. This town is the chainsaw carving capitol of Canada.
Throughout the town they have all sorts of animal statues carved out. We grabbed some food for lunch at our next stop.
The lunch break stop was at Kawkawa Lake. We had lunch at the picnic tables and then went and ...

Ethan, Cooper, Sue and I had a spa before calling it a day. Yes that is Ethan with his hair shaved off, who would shave off your hair before going to the snow? But he looks good. I had to catch up on the blog, there has been too many distractions.

This hotel is very well located near a Walmart and also a Superstore.
We had a two room executive suite that was huge. The "living room" had a fridge, sink area, flat screen TV, a table and a large desk with lots of plug ins for electronics. Even with the sofa bed open there was lots of room to walk around. This room also had a full bathroom.
The bedroom had a king bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.
we were on the first floor and so it was easy to walk to the laundry room and pool (with slide), both of which were located near the lobby.
Breakfast was offered near the lobby and was the usual hotel breakfast.
