This hotel is very well located near a Walmart and also a Superstore.
We had a two room executive suite that was huge. The "living room" had a fridge, sink area, flat screen TV, a table and a large desk with lots of plug ins for electronics. Even with the sofa bed open there was lots of room to walk around. This room also had a full bathroom.
The bedroom had a king bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.
we were on the first floor and so it was easy to walk to the laundry room and pool (with slide), both of which were located near the lobby.
Breakfast was offered near the lobby and was the usual hotel breakfast.

When we woke we looked outside saw several elk grazing through the campground. They were all very close by and seemed very comfortable being around people. As we drove through the north end of the park we saw more elk and also a small herd of pronghorn antelope. This route took us through Gardiner Montana. This is a small and very western looking town. It was what I pictured Cody would be like and ...
... some photos taken. Was really good fun except my legs were well and truly ready to get out and walk by the time we got in. Just in time as it had just started to get drizzly.
Was getting quite chilly by then, the water not as cold as I thought would be but still wouldn't have liked to fall in...
Then kept heading NNE through Glacier National Park, around and down through Golden, getting quite darker ...

After seeing lots of snow in Whistler (and warm temperatures towards the end of our stay of +3 at the base!) we hit the road again to head to Kelowna.
The drive is about 5 hours on a good day.. on this day we struck bad driving conditions on one of the most treacherous stretches of road in British Columbia... maybe even Canada, called the Coquihalla, this road is on a mountain pass that essentially is the first mountain that gets ...
... boys played in the big bath with lots of bubbles .... then we all went down for what we hoped would be a good night's rest. Caden, however, had other plans. After a terrible night Celia bundled him up and drove him to the doctor only to find out he had the croup. Not a great start.
That didn't stop the rest of us. I drove Asher to his gymnastics class and the two of us returned to the condo with a brand new snow ...

The boys and Sue were off, up the mountain, Margaret, Simon, Russ and I had to get our skies and lift tickets. It was a perfect day, the sun was shining, the scenery is just beautiful, the snow is amazing, so thick, no icy patches. We meet up with Sue and Rob, the boys were gone we didn't see them until late in the afternoon with grins like split watermelons. Rob ...
