This hotel is very well located near a Walmart and also a Superstore.

We had a two room executive suite that was huge. The "living room" had a fridge, sink area, flat screen TV, a table and a large desk with lots of plug ins for electronics. Even with the sofa bed open there was lots of room to walk around. This room also had a full bathroom.

The bedroom had a king bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.

we were on the first floor and so it was easy to walk to the laundry room and pool (with slide), both of which were located near the lobby.

Breakfast was offered near the lobby and was the usual hotel breakfast.

We went to dinner at the Chinese restaurant called chopsticks and had a bento box each which was tasty and good quality , however didn't seem like your usual Chinese fair. The motel we stayed didn't look all that good however it was clean and it was good to rest up for the next part of driving tour the next ...

He does this for the summer and then winters in San Diego. Nice life! Anyway, they again did some nice wines, including the only syrah red icewine produced in the region, which was amazing but $70 a bottle - beyond our reach, so we left empty-handed. He and his assistant did provide us ...

James, Asher and Grandaddy took off skiing with Asher promptly proving that he no longer needed a 'leash'. At four years old he was barreling down the hill and, by the end of the week, he certainly gave his poor old Grandmama a run for her money.
Big White is a great family oriented ski hill.... whether you ski or not there is always something to see or do. Though there is ice skating and tubing ...

... the mountain but It was so nice and warm being home, we just relaxed and just stayed in. Sue was leaving very early the next day so she had packing to do and we had some homework to catch up on. It was dark and the boys, Rob, Ethan and Cooper decided to go for a night ski, they had a ball. Our last night with Sue, it was so good having her here and catching up, but I'm glad we weren't going back up the mountain tomorrow.

Today we did a wine tour in West Kelowna. Rob our tour guide took us first of all to Mission Hill Winery which was the slick operation, Pristine grounds and producing some 300,000 cases of wine per year, much more than the smaller neighbours.

It was a really interesting visit to this vineyard; passion and attention to detail seemed to be the order of the day.

The next stop was the opposite; a small family run producer of ...
