    Great hotel

This hotel is very well located near a Walmart and also a Superstore.

We had a two room executive suite that was huge. The "living room" had a fridge, sink area, flat screen TV, a table and a large desk with lots of plug ins for electronics. Even with the sofa bed open there was lots of room to walk around. This room also had a full bathroom.

The bedroom had a king bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.

we were on the first floor and so it was easy to walk to the laundry room and pool (with slide), both of which were located near the lobby.

Breakfast was offered near the lobby and was the usual hotel breakfast.

Dorm accommodation, was a bit stuffy at first but improved and didn't sleep too bad considering all the elephants wandering up and down the passage..
Left at 8 am now and did a stop at a huge store to purchase food for the next few days as we'd be on the road with not much ...

... of people who wanted to make the best wine they could.

Our next winery was Ex Nihilo. Here we got to try 4 more wines (well by this stage the driver had to opt out of anything but the tiniest sip) none of which quite seemed as nice as the previous ones. The estate was again in beautiful surroundings but this time it was pretty much everything we dislike about the wine scene. It was pretentious and snobby. The people running it soon seemed to ...

... or Big White out! However when the sun did come out the views were quite good.
All in all we would definitely go back to

We also did a road trip to Silverstar whilst staying in Kelowna which is a little further from Kelowna near a town called Vernon. It was definitely worth the trip, the snow base wasnt as big as Big White however the day we went there it snowed hard all day and there must of been at least 15cms on top of our car when we left. ...

... wii. So, after a long day of skiing you could find the family either eating or wiiing (?) or sitting in the hot tub. A few evenings we walked to the village, one night taking in the Kid's Fun Night at the main chalet.
Caden never stopped even though he didn't feel well. At 16 months old he is indeed a going concern! I was hoping he would get a chance to strap some skis on but maybe next year. He did go sliding in the new ...

... of our runs we came upon a lost Margaret who was trying to get home, Russ, Margaret and I had a ski together and it started to get cold and the nice day was going so we decided to head for home. It is great not having to go to the car park, take off your boots then drive home like we do at Jindabyne, you just put the code in and the garage door opens take off your boots put them in the drying room and go upstairs. The boys had been home ...
