We leave early from the hostel and head towards Kelowna, but first a quick stop at Mcdonald's for breakfast to go.
It is a typical fall day, slightly overcast and occasional drizzle falls. The mountains tower around us and clouds hide the tops form view. We have several trails planned for today and have some concerns that the rain …
Today was one of those lazy laid back days. The fellas did a little more hardware shopping and renovating. Heather stained some more wooden beams( ably supervised by myself of course) then we piled into the car and drove up Silver Star. Silver Star is 1600metres and a snow field in the winter. No snow up there at the moment but the air had a distinct chill and there were a few snow capped ...
A sluggish start, well it was about 8am I think. We packed and took ourselves off to Denny's in the drizzly rain. It's funny how time gets away and we found ourselves returning to the hotel at a very brisk pace and zooming down the corridors, bags rattling along at an alarming rate. Checkout effected. Shuttle bus on its way. Only a few minutes later than we'd anticipated. Airport check in nightmare. Blasted machines. You ...
... national park, then down into Sturgis, and down I90 to the ferry across lake Michigan. That will save at least a day off our riding. I took a little walk around the Casino and scoped out the games i am going to be giving my money to. Not 1 person was at the card tables and there was zero at the poker tables also, its not very big. I would say its even smaller then Mohawk. We are going to the ...

The GPS took us everywhere but the hotel. I said follow me Tom. We will find it. We did. You should see this place wow. It was so nice I was waiting for someone to escort us out of there and back to our dirty bikes.
A lot of people out here hitchhike and as we were leaving Banff we saw 2 girls looking for a ride to Vancouver. An hour later After ...

This hotel is very well located near a Walmart and also a Superstore.
We had a two room executive suite that was huge. The "living room" had a fridge, sink area, flat screen TV, a table and a large desk with lots of plug ins for electronics. Even with the sofa bed open there was lots of room to walk around. This room also had a full bathroom.
The bedroom had a king bed, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.
we were on the first floor and so it was easy to walk to the laundry room and pool (with slide), both of which were located near the lobby.
Breakfast was offered near the lobby and was the usual hotel breakfast.
