No elevator

This hotel is fine but there is no elevator and so you have to drag your suitcases up if you are on the second floor.

The Butler Institute of Art featured lots super colorful abstract stuff, plus American Impressionists and portrait artists. My favorite piece was all purple and based on Romulus and Remus (Rome's foundation myth) and I took a video of it (accidentally erased) and there's no image available online. In the morning Livvy and I swam in a little hot tub surrounded by fake palms trees. Then got in the car and drove through Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. I looked up in the car at one point and saw that we were in Nevada, Iowa. Then we kept driving and hit Brooklyn, Iowa. 3,000 miles in one state! ... the hood of the truck and discovered a problem with the turbo charger. We located a Chevy dealer about 14 miles away and headed there with black smoke pouring out of the exhaust. At the dealer's we discovered it was the hose on the turbo booster which blew off. They couldn't fix it but directed us to a Ford Truck Service Center south of Cleveland. We had birthday cake for Richard (Joyce and Floyd's son-in-law), said goodnight and headed off to Floyd and Joyce's. They said they would pick us up for breakfast about 0900 in the morning.
