This hotel is fine but there is no elevator and so you have to drag your suitcases up if you are on the second floor.

Speaking of breathing, I attended a two-hour session of Classic Yoga and Meditation this evening at The Yoga Room. The instructor, Maureen, was lovely-- she created this congenial, relaxed environment that came as a culture shock... she and students in the class were even asking me about my cross-country trip. It's funny to be away from DC and realize that yoga doesn't have to be a competition ;)
In the morning Livvy and I swam in a little hot tub surrounded by fake palms trees. Then got in the car and drove through Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. I looked up in the car at one point and saw that we were in Nevada, Iowa. Then we kept driving and hit Brooklyn, Iowa. 3,000 miles in one state! We stopped in Brooklyn, Iowa to have lunch at a diner before we kept going. Classic Deli and Ice Cream Shoppe. For lunch Livvy and ...

The service people were very helpful and took us right in. They changed 3 hoses and the fuel filter and we were on our way back to pick up the camper.
We arrived at the Gisselbeck's about 2000. They wanted us to park in the driveway and it was a bit difficult. Jim took out the neighbor's mailbox. When Loren came home, we went to dinner.

Went back to Floyd's to pick up our stuff, took pictures of them with Gnorman and Gnorman with their gnome, Gned, who is Gnorman's cousin.

We had birthday cake for Richard (Joyce and Floyd's son-in-law), said goodnight and headed off to Floyd and Joyce's. They said they would pick us up for breakfast about 0900 in the morning.
We contacted Helen and Loren Gisselbeck in Cleveland, OH to find out if they would be around on Thursday for a visit.
