This hotel is fine but there is no elevator and so you have to drag your suitcases up if you are on the second floor.

Dropped our food off at the Calders and had our goodbyes. Freezing cold today 9F. Car was so full we had to take our garbage down the road on the hood of the car. 2:00 - Duty Free Erie - got 3 bottles of rum and one Carolan - 57.00! WOOT. These are 1ltr and not those skimpy 750ml. It's a pretty long drive from home to Youngstown; took us about 8 hours, including stops. Arrived in plenty of time to rest up a bit, though, before heading out to the ballgame. This week's fare: A-Ball. The game was between the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) and the Brooklyn Cyclones (or BKLYN, as they spell it on their jerseys--Class A affiliate of the New York Mets). You may recall that ...

After arriving at the Grand Canyon we hiked the turkey trail and headed to Elk County's Visitor Center to explore and hopefully see some elk. Even though we did not see any elk we ended the day getting supper at subway and heading to the ...

Wayne and I headed out I70 at 11pm June 23, 2015. We drove (I should say, Wayne drove lol) 227 miles, and stopped to park overnight at Cracker Barrel 300 in New Stanton, Pa. Got up to grab breakfast/lunch, shop a little (that would be Deb) and get back on the road. Heading NW thru Erie via I79. Just got into Ohio , traveling 80W. Its 4pm. Traffic isn't so bad. But if we hit rush hour, the bus driver said he's stopping for a nap. Lol 2 miles to Cleveland / Akron. First fuel ...
