... our car. Using the truck route meant we went through some of the less desirable areas of Detroit. I can't remember when I've seen so many burned buildings but at least the fire hall was in tact.
We lunched at a Tim Horton's that Dave Hunter's I75 book recommends and tonight we ate at a Korean restaurant we could walk to from our hotel. It was buffet where we cooked at our table over a charcoal grill. We were the only non-Korean folks there!
I think we'll sleep well tonight!

The day started with a way-to-early 7:15 a.m. flight from Cincinnati to Miami. We luckily found a direct flight (both ways) that was also the least expensive. Direct flights are great way to start a vacation because they are relatively stress free. Changing planes is just never fun.

RV Tips:
Dave determined last night, after 3.5 years in our RV, that the front curtain offers no privacy when the lights are on. Not a problem for me, I figure no one is looking and if they did, they’d stop right away. But just so you know.

Leaving for KL in 6 days, monsoon season i know, but. Plan on spending Christmas and New Year in Malaysia before heading north to Thailand after getting a visa in Penang. Anyone out there care to share a Tiger somewhere in the peninsula drop me a line.
