    We collected Jack at 9am, but before heading off we had a quick look around his camp and lake front where he is teaching wind surfing. The lake itself is very warm and sheltered, so not sure if there is much real wind surfing going on there. It is a very big camp, with hundreds of kids from all over New York state. Jack is looking after 8-12 year olds. Fairly hard going having them 24/7 at the age of 18. He shares a cabin with 8 kids so is their camp councillor as ...

    First time driving in the USA - Russ got us safely from Jersey City to Milford Pensylvania. Caught a yellow cab from Manhatten across the Hudson River, or rather under the Hudson River to our car rental place - Alamo.     ... Tuesday, July 08 2014 What a great day! It started out early, so we had 10 miles done quick. Stopped by the High Point State Park visitor center (973-875-4800). They gave us a Pepsi, courtesy of a donation by Trail Angels. I talked to the lady at the visitor center for a good while, she was polite and extremely helpful! There were a lot of day hikers out around High Point State Park, had some good conversations with them....then walked on in our normal ...
