      ... are wonderful inns and B&B's. Typical of today there is a spa or wellness centre on every block; only four major blocks here and one traffic light.       ... still holds the charm and elegance of its heyday. New Presidents come, new artists of stage, movies and music sneak in. I love the stories, the original marble on the entry, chestnut floors and mahogany banisters. A photo of Andy Warhol kissing John Lennon is over the bar, while on the walls of the dining room late 19th and early 20th Century menus hang.       ... opening was followed by a great selection of cheeses at lunch. Some of us enjoyed a lazy afternoon and a walk down to the Delaware River (Pennsylvania is on the opposite side), with a perfect sighting of two huge eagles circling low in the sky right above us, and an invigorating walk up the driveway (you can see why Mal bought a Jeep!).       We had just enough snow for the kids to make a snowman. In this pic, Vivi had shed her coat, but Payson had only just put his on; they worked up quite a sweat rolling up all the snow in the whole backyard.
