On the road again September 2012
... to some High Kings, Harry Chapin, Jeff Buckley. Managed to stay off highways most of the day. Took Rt. 9 and Rt. 7 across VT and into NY. Such a pretty ride - sunny day, barely a tinge of color on the leaves. Love Wilmington - one trip thru that fun town, I bought a leather jacket. Roughing It!
On the exit road of the Chichester campground we had to drive over spikes, shaped like claws. Anyone driving over these while mistakenly using this route to enter the campground would surely have their tires destroyed.
Our first stop was back to Camping World. We had to return the sunshade because it was too small, and we bought another length of water hose. It's an amazing store.

Well, this is my last journal before leaving NJ..... packing the car, boat is out of the water; gardens winterized; house ready and we will be on our way.

If am going to bake cookies with Vivi for Christmas I need my Kitchen Aide mixer; recipe books, etc. Good thing we have a large vehicle! It will be packed.
Can't forget travel foods & drinks. Bringing lots of wine too!
