Day 3 New Braunfels Tx
Made it to New Braunfels around 1430 today. Got checked in, then headed over to Landa Park to tube the Comal River. Brings back a lot of memories. I always did like it here. Tomorrow we will hit Schlitterbahn water park. Should be a blast.
San Antonio
That was a very long and tiring drive from El Paso to San Antonio. Started at 2:30 in the afternoon and reached after midnight. Day Fifteen - Texas Cowboy Country
... shade when you are on a road trip. The vegetation became greener with out crops of sun-bleached jagged hills/mountains often with flat tops. I started to see large herds of cattle on the range. Now I felt like I was in a western movie. This landscape also appeared to go on forever. The highway was in excellent shape and made for a great evening ride. This is cowboy country.
