... 1:05pm start. The ferry was full of orange & black shirts all eagerly awaiting to see their team kick up some dust against the visiting Twins franchise from Minnesota. ... steep hills and parked the car after a huge confusion about whether it was free or not, but it turned out we were okay. We walked in the square and immediately had a homeless guy following us muttering to himself weirdly. We took a few touristy pictures and headed to a bar with live jazz. Once in we grabbed a beer after almost being seated at a table. We watched the sax players run around the bar playing 'Here comes the bride’ to a couple before getting a tip in the tip jar.

Our journey to Johnson's Beach in Guerneville to relax by the Russian River was short lived. The town itself was a bit, honky-tonk.. This was confirmed by the fact that we managed to go about 5 miles before making our first stop, at which we lingered for over half an hour. The sky was clear and the Pacific was as blue as it was in Red's dreams.
