Arrived at South Bend around 5:30 pm. After checking into the hotel we took a quick tour of downtown South Bend. Neither one of us had never seen the downtown area before and were surprised to see how large it is. As we drove back toward Notre Dame we noticed a lot of tree damage. We even saw one that had fallen on to a house. Later we learned that a big wind storm had hit the area ten days ago. Parts of the university ...

We didn't notice the time passing and didn't seem to be in any hurry to leave! Finally, we said our good-byes and ...
... But we still had the full on search for dog food to complete. This time we called ahead and SCORE! Disaster averted, dog food has been purchased. Back to Shipshewana. We had lunch at Essenhaus, good sides but the meats were so-so. There were some shops there too. It started raining after lunch so we headed back to the campground for a nap (we are wild ones - I'd invite u guys to come with us but I doubt u could keep up). After the nap and the rain we headed back into ...
