Der letzte National Park auf unserer US Tournee ist der Yosemite. Hier gibt es Fluesse, Seen, Berge und Tausende von Baeumen...ein wahrer Wanderer-Traum! Leider hatten wir kaum Zeit zu wandern, muessen dies aber irgendwann noch nachholen :-)<br><br>An unseren letzten zwei Tagen in den USA werden wir nochmals die ganze Fast Food Palette durchlaufen und uns im Wal-Mart Superstore am Groessenwahnsinn ergoetzen :-)<br>

Dropped Bert and Ace off for their "vacation" with Kim. They were happy, I was sad. Glenn, sensing the fact I was missing the dogs already treated me to a frozen yogurt on the way home-Yum, Yum, it helped me get over the separation :)<br><br>One more day and were off across the pond!

The weather this weekend has given us the sun, rain, clouds, and more rain. We left Medford hoping to find sunshine and warm weather. At least we didn't see any fog in Lodi. Today is "Honey Do" day for Dale although his honey do's are for his mom. He found the heating filter in the furnace for them and washed it out. ... home, it will be a while before images of German and Tuscan hillsides, Italian duomos and piazzas, and nighttime visions of Mt. Etna's red rivers of lava fade from our dreams. So, here's to travel abroad. For an opportunity to see the world and it's people from an entirely different perspective. To see how others view our culture. To view history that is still standing. As I own a wood boat, the major concern I have is the damage to the hull caused by the fresh water, in which it is currently located. My initial inquiries centered upon where the water turns from fresh to salt water. As many of you may not be aware, salt water is superior to fresh water in terms of keeping a wood hull from rotting. ... ago in Dayton) drove down from her home in Sacramento and took us to the annual Stockton Asparagus Festival. We thoroughly enjoyed trying the amazing variety of dishes (and drinks) that featured asparagus, such as deep-fried asparagus, asparitas (margaritas), and asparitos (burritos). We also watched Martin Yan (celebrity chef from TV) prepare 4 asparagus-based dishes in a half hour. He was incredible---entertaining, efficient, and never once cut off a finger!

We decided to head further a field to Celebrate our first wedding anniversary and decided that San Francisco would be a great California filled sun weekend. ... going, but my plan is to stay north and hit up beijing, xi'an, pingyao, datong, and maybe a couple other places. we'll see. --weather--it's supposed to be fairly cold there right now, so you may see lots of photos of me bundled and freezing. projected temp for this weekend is high of 38. but i freeze when it's less than 75 outside, so that really doesn't mean anything. i'm cold right now. so my photos may be deceiving. most of all, yes i will try my best to be safe and have fun.
