Stockton, California, United States gocarygoDropped Bert and Ace off for their "vacation" with Kim. They were happy, I was sad. Glenn, sensing the fact I was missing the dogs already treated me to a frozen yogurt on the way home-Yum, Yum, it helped me get over the separation :)

One more day and were off across the pond!
Bay Point, California, United States zumwaltThe weather this weekend has given us the sun, rain, clouds, and more rain. We left Medford hoping to find sunshine and warm weather. At least we didn't see any fog in Lodi. Today is "Honey Do" day for Dale although his honey do's are for his mom. He found the heating filter in the furnace for them and washed it out. Next, lights needed to be installed at the front of the house for those dark, dark nights when ...

Etna's red rivers of lava fade from our dreams. So, here's to travel abroad. For an opportunity to see the world and it's people from an entirely different perspective. To see how others view our culture. To view history that is still standing. And to share all of these exhilarating experiences with your closest companion. We can't wait to do it again. Ciao

He had no idea what I was referring to, as it had nothing to do with either school, clothing, RC airplanes or cologne. Well, that is him and I love him just the same. I have always done my same work and sore arms are not as bad as an inflamed Gall Bladder as was the case the last time I rebuilt a boat, but that is another story for another time. Steve
Stockton, California, United States stevevall... well as surfing the net in regards to these issues has caused me to make this entry. As I own a wood boat, the major concern I have is the damage to the hull caused by the fresh water, in which it is currently located. My initial inquiries centered upon where the water turns from fresh to salt water. As many of you may not be aware, salt water is superior to fresh water in terms of keeping a wood hull from rotting. Although this many seem odd, think of it as pickling. The best ...

We thoroughly enjoyed trying the amazing variety of dishes (and drinks) that featured asparagus, such as deep-fried asparagus, asparitas (margaritas), and asparitos (burritos). We also watched Martin Yan (celebrity chef from TV) prepare 4 asparagus-based dishes in a half hour. He was incredible---entertaining, efficient, and never once cut off a finger!
Stockton, California, United States lisapwinWe decided to head further a field to Celebrate our first wedding anniversary and decided that San Francisco would be a great California filled sun weekend. Well it was a great weekend in California but with little Sun. We had a very very busy weekend and tried to see as much as possible - leaving CT at 4am in the morning to arrive in San Francisco for 10. I had been before but spent most of the trip in Palo Alto, this was a first for Des. The BART is a quick way to get ...
