... a taxi to our apartment, which was only 5 minutes away and directly above the station, but it was all up hill. At the apartment I then had to lug our luggage up 65 garden stairs to the front door. Was it worth it? Yes, the view was spectacular and I was sorry we weren't staying for a week. So much space and a balcony overlooking Lake Como. All of the front windows face East and we can see the centre of the town, the lake and the hills opposite. Fantastic.
