    ... surrounding village looked like it was an affluent area with lots of red painted wooden houses with terraces set around a lovely lake with a fountain. It really was too hot to do anything else so we headed back to the digs and I am currently sat in the garden with a coffee. Off out tonight to a local hostelry for a beer (only £4 a pint) and some food. All in all a quiet day. Another big riding day tomorrow I believe so early night for me later Catch you all ...

    Today was always going to be a long one with about 300 miles and a 3 and a half hour ferry crossing so we rose early 5 am actually and were ready to leave for 6 ish to head over to fredrickhavn to catch the ferry to Gutenberg (pronounced gothenberg) in sweden.
