... Sure enough my keys. Back up the road it turned out that number three was next to the pizza place so I was in.
The externals were not so impressive but the flat itself was very nice; heaps of shops and restaurants/bars downstairs. I went out for a couple of beers to get a feel for the place.

... Spree Park was the only soviet era amusement park in Berlin, and in the early 2000's their owners transported many of the rides to Peru, supposedly for "refurbishment". They were caught transporting the rides back filled with cocaine, and thus the park fell into disrepair (as the owners were in jail).
The park was also used in the film "Hanna", which gave us an extra incentive to check it out. We walked from the hostel and ended up along the Spree ...
