    ... one of whom speaks no English at all but doesn't let that stop her, and the other who speaks good enough English to communicate. We're getting along nicely. I managed the Belarus border without too much incident and then arrived at the station at Brest where we had to change 'bogey's' as the tracks are different. That was an experience. We were also inundated with Belarusian women trying to sell us beer, chicken and socks!?!?! Now in bed - but not on the top bunk thank ...

    Hit the 2000 mile mark today North of Warsaw Still without a map of Russia but we bought the other essentials (wine, shampoo, vodka and brioche). Using the trusty compass to get by and shaking it when it doesn't agree with us! At least we are driving through beautiful countryside with lots of storks, wherever we are heading.     ... the crooks of my arms started to get wet. Then my shoes, and then my chest. The water found a passage from the my elbows down to my gloves, so eventually my arms were simply wet.
