    ... the pier to get back to the coach checking out people's houses as we were walking along. We hopped in the coach and headed into the city to participate in a canal cruise. Man that canal cruise was AWESOME! We started with s bottle of Flur, a drink which was 10% alcohol. So we said cheers in Dutch and had the shot together as a group!     I spent the night at GJ's, but so many early mornings had trained me to get up at stupid o'clock. By 6am I was wide awake and if I'd been asked to walk 25 miles, I would have had the energy, but not the legs. I could hardly wedge my swollen feet into my trainers. I sat with my feet up on GJ's couch and we talked for hours about everything, from GJ's new job to the state of the farcical high-speed railway to Belgium. It was good to catch up.

    ... similarly have used the new space for processing entries, a cafe, shop, and general gawking space. The whole building in fact looks spiffy.     ... and we have to figure things out, but considering I do not know one word of Dutch this was a relief. We quickly figured out the tram system, and jumped on Number 5 to take us towards Vonderpark where our hotel was located. We dropped our bags and quickly headed out to start exploring the city.
