    ... way down to warm up while eating an Nussgipfel ( famous swiss Nut-sticks) Everywhere you go even on the Base-camp where the Lift brings you up to the Säntis you see Constructions going , they are really cementing and filling Switzerland with concrete this day's greatly diminishing the upon a time quality of Live with it.... it is getting too crowded at least for me ...

    Quick entry to reflect a lunch stop in Liechtenstein. This tiny country is most famous for selling postage stamps, and the fact that almost every European tour operator includes a few minutes here so they can boast of another country visited. Now that I think about it, maybe that 's what we did :-)

    ... not adhering to the reboarding times, we commenced our 2 hour drive back to Zurich along Lake Walen, at the foot of the Churfirsten mountain range. Although late, Marcello requested the driver to make an unplanned 5 minute stop so we could see and photograph Lake Walen's beautiful scenery. Yet again, the same people were late reboarding the bus. As we pulled in to Zurich city, Marcello gave us his parting joke, well actually more like imparting his wisdom and bid us ...

    ... and I did the sauna and got a Turkish massage.

    It was ladies day so I didn't have to work my way around the co ed nude rule. The massage took place on a warmed slab of granite where warm water was continuously poured over me during the massage. After all my activity I was led to a quiet room where there was complete since and lovely lounges and a cup of herbal tea.

    Meersburg has made it to the list of my all time favorite towns. It is on the north side of Lake Konstanze and was another German city spared bombing. Consequently it's medieval architecture is evident in just about everything. So many people out today. It boasts the largest castle in Germany and has the most incredible lakeside promenade. Today we had our first REAL apple strudel. YUM. Our spellplatze for the evening is also very nice. Photos to ...
