3 Julie Rise and shine early for me. The weather is perfect and a beautful sunrise meets me as I open the apartment's curtain. After a good night's rest we were ready to explore Utrecht and prepare ourselves for Ettape1.We had Brinta for breakfast and was ready for the day. ... GPS to help us find a campground. The first one we came across was like 'Old Macdonalds Farm' so we moved on. The next one was non-existent. The third one, and the one we settled for, was close to Utrecht and has a feeling of being under construction. So we set ourselves up and headed into Utrecht for an exploratory bike ride.

In Utrecht we found the Tour de France team presentation, and although there were big crowds and we couldn't even see the main stage, we did see the riders ...

... of the little shops, canals, bicycles, and huge church. It was also extra cute because the city is getting ready for the Tour De France kick-off. It's crazy to think how old everything is compared to everything in the United States. It's honestly hard to wrap my mind around. A group of us went to a little Italian place right on the water and ate a ton of pizza and drank a ton of wine.

... they have rebuilt and continue to rebuild the entire town. The place is spectacular and there is the aura and feeling about it that is hard to describe. It is just an amazing place. We all just loved it there.
