About 10:30am I ventured out into the sun, set to explore the city a bit more and with a shopping focus this time. I needn't have rushed to get out as I found 99% of the shops were closed until at least midday (some didn't open at all). ... it was time to go to our hotel and check in. We were actually staying a wee bit out of Amsterdam but it was easy enough to get the bus into Amsterdam.
