Today, we were lucky enough to be in Holland during the Holland vs. Mexico World Cup game! Almost every person we saw throughout the day was representing Holland by wearing orange. Although Holland's flag is blue and white, orange is everywhere because it is the color of royalty.

... from England and Australia, they were really nice. We didn't get back till 4am and started at 8:30 so it was a long night especially for my feet and ankle that was hurting before we even started. Tuesday was a busy but peaceful day. It was a little rainy and chilly in the morning but we walked towards the Anne Frank house. The line for this was extremely long, I'd say we waited for an hour and fifteen minutes and during that time it hailed, poured and was about 35 degrees. ...

I found a book shop that had a reasonable selection of kid's books - funny to see some of the favourite authors at school (Eric Carle, David Walliams, Andy Griffiths, Shaun Tan etc) on the bookshelf in another language. Didn't see any Margaret Mahy or Lynley Dodd ones though!
I also found a couple of Cook shops - think TFE, but on a much bigger scale. Probably a good thing my suitcase was fairly full when we arrived! ...
... couple of them who were very, very drunk. Hopefully there wasn't any trouble later.
We are now back at CitizenM hotel using their extensive technology system. It looks a bit like the ICT rooms at Brayton High School but there is Muzak playing and a bar behind me.
