Every two years, the weather man declared, there are strong gales in the south of England, the type that disrupt train services, housewives lose their laundry drying on the line, umbrellas get blown inside out - and even trees are blown down. This was the day that we chose to fly to England. It's OK, the gales will die down sometime in the afternoon, said the same weather man, but not after we've flown over to ...

Antwerp, Antwerpen, Belgium melissaricards... 40% alennuksella ja istua jonkun viereen, jolla on alennuskortti. (Alennuskortilla kolme ystavaa saavat alennuksen myos.)
Antwerp, Antwerpen, Belgium inkeHi from Amsterdam! We arrived here a few minutes ago and just got back from eating at the Oud Holland restaurant. We had traditional Dutch cuisine. In the restaurant there was a cat walking around. Another cat came in and they started fighting, right under the table. It was pretty funny. Two days ago we took a train from Paris into Luxembourg City. Spent about 3 hours there and that was enough time. Nothing ...
Brussels, Brussels, Belgium rfon4... in the category (only a meagre 6.2%, heck, that's practically Molson-esque!) Apparently, the monastary where it's brewed also makes cheese, and opens one weekend a year for public tours. Marie informed me that she and Yannic already have their tickets. Antwerp is a port city, so of course, marine life figures prominently. We walked up to the water and stopped to check out a castle on the quay. We noticed several plaques commemorating the ...
Antwerp, Belgium segacs... nice and tidy. The kitchen is cozy and pleasant (if I have my arms akimbo my elbows can almost touch either wall), and I can living room is the perfect size to practice my epileptic break-dancing! Well, what can I say about Brussels? It's is a really nice city that celebrates diversity and the international spirit. I can see why it was chosen as the capital of Europe. The social and tourist scene is bursting at the seams, offering a number of ...
Brussels, Belgium zero_charismaWe presented our projects in a very HOT room. HOT. Where is the snow? They told us to bring sweaters? HA! Its boiling here. I went out with the group that night and as we were leaving the owners accused our group of stealing the handle of their sink and threatened to call the police, so ...

Alla compramos algunas alfombras baratas y tambien venden algunas ricos quesos, carnes y mariscos.
Ostend, Belgium amandawaldo... meant 'guide'. Kinda weird, what was he guiding? I also thought about something else - being completely surrounded by a museum and town that focuses on how the American saved and liberated the town from the clutches of a dictator made me think that maybe sometime in the future, the lies of finding 'weapons of mass destruction' will be forgotten and there could someday be a museum in Baghdad commemorating when the Americans came to Iraq to liberate the people from the clutches of ...
