sister-in-law said, “oh, if you’re ever in Lyon you should try to see my friend
Elodie.” And I thought, ya, for sure why not! I’m all about connections, but at

Previously its all been small hand washing or a couple of times having it done for us. Must be missing domesticity as we are planning to cook tea too. Just after 12 we set off with Paul as the tour guide to see Lyon. First up was the nearby ancient amphitheatre. Very much in ruins and fenced off we walked around and also found one of ...

... push if we were going to catch the Tour.
A short climb out of Saint Agathe and then a long, fast decent into Tarare, and industrial town. Just a magic decent, not too steep so not too much time on the brakes. Dave Collins would have loved this.At the bottom of the decent we caught up with the young Japanese rider for the Orica Green Edge team Fumiyuki Beppu. He's not racing, just training, but it was great to see him and snap a photo on the road.Into Tarare and we dropped off ...
