... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

          Day 46 - Bellagio Promenade

A travel blog entry by hopptwo on Oct 17, 2015

We caught the hourly bus which took about twenty minutes to reach the town. Lesson learned, buy your tickets wherever they are sold other than the bus. The bus driver charges 2X the price to issue tickets.

We toured Bellagio as did ...

... the many colorful lakefront houses, villages, and palazzos that encircle the lake.

Arriving in Lezzeno a little after 5:00, the 10 minute walk back to our apartment warmed us up as the afternoon had turned chilly. We enjoyed a nice penne bolognese and a bottle of Valpolicella for dinner capping a nice day viewing properties. Too bad Lake Como is so far to travel, it would be a great place for a summer getaway.

... to throw it further up the stream. It got stuck on it's way back to us so I climbed over some rocks to get it but slipped and got my shoes wet. Darn it. Hahahahaa! We threw rocks and swirled water at it and finally came free. Davide was so excited he shouted "WATCH MY SUPER STAR KICK". He kicked the ball back up the stream but this time, he kicked it too high and it fell into a bush in the crevice of giagantic wall of ...
