I'm on the move again today. Metro to Termini train station and fast train to Milan at 11am. Takes 3 hours. Speeds of around 248 kms an hour. My ears keep popping when we go through the tunnels. The terrain is very similar to down south. Rolling hills etc., with flat plains in between. I can't see so many olive trees though and there's a lot more grape vines. ... cafe to settle in for a nice pasta lunch. This was followed by a wander around Varenna, up into the town square and the church. And then to a tiny little beach. Back to the ferry and then back to Bellagio for a lovely dinner made up of sensational pork sausages, meats, olive and cheese from the little deli at the end of our lane way.
