Leaving Milano, we started the day with Bergamo which is an ancient town about 40 km east of Milan we've been hearing a lot about. I have to admit that it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Maybe it's just me setting my expectation too high.
The old town (citta alta) is up on the hill and we had to take ...
Abby and I left for Bergamo early on Saturday morning (4 am from our house exactly). We took a taxi to the airport. Once at the airport, we sat there for over an hour with nothing to do because apparently nothing in the Valencia airport is open that early. We hopped on a Ryanair flight and we were off. The Mall is the outlet for all the designer brands such a Gucci, Prada, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen etc etc. I had my hopes on picking up some Valentino studded shoes but at 830 Euro, that is definately no bargain, more expensive ...
