When we got back I had a quick shower, ...

Our fears of missing our connecting flight to Tokyo were very nearly justified - our plane from London arrived an hour late, and when we finally exited the plane we were already supposed to be at our next gate. We hurried through the airport, only to be stopped by a long line at a securty checkpoint... By this time Lou was pretty panicked, as we were well overdue for our boarding time.
