Great central location with friendly staff. Clean but small rooms, comfortable beds. Breakfast will suit all tastes.

Frankfurt am main. Or Mainhatten as it is nicknamed, due to its glass skyscrapers. Unfortunately 80% of Frankfurt was bombed during WWII so hideous 50's architecture is everywhere.

It's a beautiful sunny warm day and already we've covered 6km on foot. Sitting in Romeberg square having a rather large stein to ward off the heat.Omg! The …

6.30 am and up we get ready for our trip back to Schipol and then onto Frankfurt Germany.

What a flight that was! 25 mins back to Schipol then a rush to get our 45 minute flight to Frankfurt.

It was a spiral concrete ...

... here was worth it! We then caught the train to a cafe where we had the best vanilla chai latte ever! We caught the train back to the city and bought a pretzel after being snipped at with tongs by the guy who ran the shop haha. Oh and while I was sticking my head out the window I realised that the city of Frankfurt smells like frankfurters and onion just incase you were wondering haha. Overall a great first day in ...
