We went to the Rauhalahti Holiday village outside Kuopio for a couple of days where we stayed in a cabin - a beautiful cabin with pine floors, walls, and ceilings. All sparkling clean. ... and I's second choice for exchange universities. After lunch we made our way to Santa's Village. We did some shopping and took hundreds of photos before getting back on the bus to head back to Oulu.
So that was our mid semester break.

... at the hotel. Food was of a good standard, 3 course - pate, salmon & veg and lingonberries with cream yummo. Not good for the weight though.
Awake early as it is so light. Went for a walk at around 5am down around the lake, it was picture perfect got some amazing photos of the lake with the reflections in it. Back to the hotel for brekky and pack up ready for a 7.30am start for the day. ...
