Today started in a very disappointing way, as we walked in to have our breakfast we were greeted with many hungry people. We found very little juice, no bread or hot food, very little cereal (many eating on plates and with forks due to no bowls or spoons), and one of our tour party clearing tables so many of us could sit down. And a yummy cocktail with pineapple and dragon fruit called 69- soixante neuf Then we walked to the beach (painful pebbles) and had some drinks whilst waiting for the fireworks- which were a little far away. Saw David getting out to bed, passed out. Bed ...

The seats in Comfort Seating are only a little bit more comfortable. It’s a joy on a short flight but doesn’t really help on the long haul. I so needed my chair to tilt back more. I decided not to have dinner since I was tired and I hoped to sleep. I had taken my meds and was so tired but try as I might I cannot sleep on a plane. I watched a documentary hoping it would put me to sleep. It was ...

... lived in an even bigger house next door and told us the property was built in 1730. 1730!!!! We slept in a house that is nearly 300 years old!! Incredible!

We had a very lazy morning on Thursday. We all slept in until nearly 9am and the boys played on the swings in the yard while we all ate breakfast. At about 11:30 we decided to go for a drive to Beaune for lunch. It is in the heart of the Burgundy region, and had more ...
