There was a lovely riverside path which lead into Saumur on which to ride the bike and ...

... lived in an even bigger house next door and told us the property was built in 1730. 1730!!!! We slept in a house that is nearly 300 years old!! Incredible!

We had a very lazy morning on Thursday. We all slept in until nearly 9am and the boys played on the swings in the yard while we all ate breakfast. At about 11:30 we decided to go for a drive to Beaune for lunch. It is in the heart of the Burgundy region, and had more ...
