... to none - not a single electronic amplification was used! While the open was in German, there were some English subtitles to help us follow the storyline which helped. :) After about an hour, we had had our dose of Viennese opera and decided to break-dance out of the theatre and head to the Schönbrunn Palace.
Located a short metro ride out of the city, the Schönbrunn Palace is on another level of grandure to other Viennese ...

To be perfectly honest, I'm not really sold on Vienna. It may simply be because I've come from Prague, which was amazing. Vienna is a pristine city with some interesting architecture, but nothing here has really captured my interest. Apart from in the central commercial district there doesn't seem to be a lot of life in the city. I wandered around and barely saw any ...

Free our lazy day on Saturday we had a full agenda on Sunday which more than made up for it. As it was our last full day in Vienna and of our holiday, we wanted to make the most of it. Having sampled regional delicacies throughout our holiday all that remained was the humble Sachertorte. Where better to have one than the famous hotel Sacher, where it originated. So coffee and cake for breakfast it was. Yum! We sat inside and soaked up the atmosphere and calories, ...
... Czech. The reading would have been much more fluent and natural; you might have also found yourself laughing! OK, you, the author, be a realist, smiling would be pleasing too. But then, the main idea of this entry (it´s foreign languages, just to be on the safe side) wouldn´t have made any sense.
So what am I expecting then? I should be satisfied I am able to turn up with exactly 536 words and feel confident enough to make them public.
