Osterovej 2 Nyborg, Fyn and the Central Islands, Denmark, 5800, 6531-3131
Only 30 minute trip from Copenhagen. Nice little place to spend the night. Did alot more than I expected. Saw the museum on H.C Anderson, which had his original manuscripts. A very interesting man and very ugly- that is what inspired him to write the Ugly Duckling. Saw Sankt Knuds Kirke which is a ...
Odense, Fyn and the Central Islands, Denmark tonkinOur stay in Denmark has unfortunately come to an end! Denmark has surpassed our expectations, not that we ever truly know what to expect! We had heard that the Danish can be quite reserved but we found the opposite to be true. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. So much so, that we don't want to leave! We feel like we’ve been able to really experience the Danish culture and loved our time in the community we ...
Lunde, Region South Denmark, Denmark patryThis is the little village that Stee's great-great grandfather lived in before he immigrated to the United States. Him and his parents departed from Copenhagen aboard an emigrant ship in the 1860’s set for New York's immigrant base, Castle Garden. He was only a young man during the voyage and his father died, age 46, while at sea. Him and his mother continued the voyage, and the trip to the American West without him.

What an incredibly different story the two men have had.
Vemmelev, Region Zealand, Denmark mylifesjourney... friendly…

Later we worked out and then got ready for dinner at the Italian restaurant on the ship. It was good, but not really anything to get overly excited about. Not at all like the bridge that we went under on our way back past Sweden and Denmark. You may recall we went under this bridge once, but it was raining and nasty out. This time the weather was much better and we stood out on deck to see the bridge go by. We took some pretty cool ...
Nyborg Strand, Region South Denmark, Denmark rhillaryj...to Denmark.
The original plan was to drive all the way to Copenhagen and stay on a campsite there. But since it rained and rained and rained, we decided to stop earlier and have a good rest before heading to Copenhagen and meeting up with Laurents & Iris at the airport there. We were lucky and found a really nice campsite right at the beach with a view of the Storebaelt Bridge :-)
Nyborg, Fyn and the Central Islands, Denmark kesitian... provided to people in different ways; for instance, in a school setting Americans might feels as though equality is achieved when all children, those typically developing and those with special needs, are educated and socialized together. It appeared as though the Danes sought to provide an appropriate amount of support and services with respect to the specific groups rather than the group as a whole.

In the community for persons with ...
Odense, Fyn and the Central Islands, Denmark annalise.m... 15 pessoas, sendo, a maioria, nao europeus. So sei que funcionou. Ja estavamos nos aguardando no aeroporto ...
Nyborg, Fyn and the Central Islands, Denmark betuca... me and of how tired I was, so for a moment I just wouldn't get back up again. In my mp3 player Rodney Crowell was singing "Many a Long And Lonesome Highway" and I was just in the mood to keep sitting there and listening to music. But it was not why I was there. Almost by sheer volition, I told myself "don't let your feet slow you down", stood up after all and went to the town. Soon I was downtown. At that time of the day, almost evening even if the sun was ...
Nyborg, Denmark the_wayfarer... K stores in San Antonio.

We met Hans and he gave us the tour of the Windjammer that the school uses. It is 125 feet long and a crew of 6 and about 6 to 8 students. Besides managing the sails they learn navigation and I suppose survival skills. It was apparent how much Hans misses the teaching. A few days later we returned to Nyborg and went sailing in a dinghy. It was a beautiful little wood boat with ...
Nyborg, Denmark jrgo... place called Malmo. I will be checking that out. I am getting lost a lot less here now. I think i have walked most of Copenhagen and most of it is now manageable for this dufus from down under! I am further blessed with this wonderful weather. It has hardly rained since I arrived and it is basically 12-15 degrees each day with clouds generally covering the sky but by no means unpleasant. I was expecting rain here but maybe I brought the Adelaide drought ...
