... wrapped its tentacles around my upper thigh and stung the bejesus out of me. Needless to say we got out of there much faster than we got in - Ruby was screaming - it really hurt! I couldn't help wondering what sort of jelly fish it was and whether we we would be dead in 7 minutes - so a little panicky! Found our way back to town and to a restaurant where they were very nice and gave us ammonia to rub on and a big bag of ...

There was one of Christ lying dead, which was great and reminded me of the painting in Gustav's at the Tannery. The Musee was free, which was just as well! I was so “museumed-out” from Malta that all I wanted to do was walk around incognito in the crowds and let myself be tempted by croissant and macarons. I’m not sure how many of those delicious pastries I ingested while I was in France, but I know I was eating more sweets than actual food. And I eat a lot!

... out as we went by. The beach was quite crowded and was separated by white picket fences every 40 meters or so - quite strange. The beach itself was only about 20 meters deep but instead of sand it was made up of large round pebbles. I have no idea how all the people were lying on the ground without writhing in agony.
Hearing how Nice was home to the "Beautiful People" I kept my eyes open scanning the beach seeing if i could glimpse ...
