Up to Tre Rose for breakfast then Roger met Luca, his riding companion for the morning. They are riding up the mountain out of Nesso and back around. He has been looking forward to this ride. Exploring Nesso is on our list today. Nesso is a reasonable size village, we guess around 1000 maybe 1500 residents. It is perched on then side of the mountain with the houses clinging precariously to the hillside. The main road from Como to Bellagio runs ...
... we went back to where the sign was to find there was another smaller road heading up. We went up and it got very narrow. There were a few cars parked and then a sign we were unsure about - did it mean no entry? Or no parking? No hotel. Wrong road. So back down we go. Along a bit further and here is a road that both the tourist map and the GPS says should work. We go up again and finally reach a supermarketo and while the road does continue on, it now becomes one ...
