    ... to be higher than last time and it appeared to be moving faster. James decided he would not take the plunge but vowed to the next time he was in Basel.

    It was hot and we were thirsty. A nice cold beer from the Coop was in order. This Coop was more like a department store with groceries on the basement level. We picked up a few beverages and repaired to the main marktplatz where we had our lunch.

    ... was looking for squirrels, but none were around. But we did see woodpeckers, which kept her happy. She says she saw a few different types of tits, too, but we wont go there. After walking around we had lunch at the base of the falls. I had the biggest bock wurst sausage in the smallest bun I've ever seen. Looked ridiculous but tasted great.     So another one of plans was not to be. Before the trip we had talked about attending a temple somewhere in Europe but it needed to coordinate with our plans and where we were at. We thought a good idea would be to go to the one in Freiburg, Germany. Little did we know that there are 2 Freibugs! One, way north near Dresden, where the temple actually is and Isabell's Freiburg, called Freiburg im Bresigau. Bummer! ...

    ... we hopped back in the car and searched for gas on the way to Freiburg where we were meeting Isabell for bingo at an Irish pub. One of the problems we have encountered has been that we don't have a little mark on our credit cards that the self-pay machines like. It must be a European bank thing that we don't have in the US but the lack of that little thingy has made it hard to pay for things like tolls (ugh!), parking garages and self-pay gas.     ... to the pub, which was boring until, his friends came. All 8 of us went bowling. Had a great night, laughed more than I had in a while, which is super cool.
