... are the cemeteries so I take her across the road to where the newer mausoleums are. Beyond that was the cemetery. I convinced her to defer the call to coffee to have a look. As she enters the gates, she looks around and wants to know where the Von Trapp family are hiding. It reminded her of a scene from The Sound of Music. The cemetery has fresh cut and growing flowers on almost every grave and mausoleum. The month of November (Holy Souls) explains this. Either end ...
Now where are all my party people?! In the city of Milan, Italy, the night does not begin
until about 1 am. Back in Canada if someone is awake later than
midnight, it is likely they are either in bed watching a movie with a
bag of chips or bowl of ice cream (all you ladies, you know what i am

Took a airport train to the subway to a train to Stresa, and walked to ...
Swiss Mountain Magic! No other way to describe our day travelling through the Swiss Alps on the Bernina Rail. The track is 122km long, it passes through 55 tunnels and travels over 196 bridges. It's a long train ride, we left Chur, Switzerland at 8:30am and arrived in Tirano, Italy a 12:30pm. We didn't realise how high we were getting until they announced we had reached the highest point of 2253m at Ospizio Bernina. There was still snow on the mountains when we ...
