I thought that the food in Portugal would be awesome, but aparently they dont feel like serving me! So we decided to go to dinner at our hotel, indian food, and indan chep, suppoesd to be amazing...but instead we waited for 2.5 hours to be served and still we got our sangria and our nan for free and then decided to try somewhere else …

We have safely arrived in Lisbon, our home for the next 4 days. Flight from Seattle to London was on time. It was on our favorite plane, the good, old 747. It is unfortunate that these planes are being phased out of the fleet as newer, more efficient planes can do the job with 2 rather than 4 engines-amazing statement for technology. It was supposed to rain today, but we woke up to sunshine. We went to Palm Sunday Mass at the church of Santo Domingo - this was the church that we had photos of earlier, that was partly destroyed in the 1755 earthquake, but the roof was rebuilt and the inside was left partly ruined to remind what nature can do.
