Verona was a lovely city which we only got to spend one to one and a half hours exploring. When we got off the coach we were almost immediately approached by selfie-stick sellers. ... frescos inside are in fabulous condition. On all the walls they look like they are heavily embossed but on close inspection they are dead flat. On the way back to the boat we happened upon some medieval games that were being enacted in a park. Lots of people in period costume and most heavily armored. They had been in Mantova for a 4 day festival. The boat holds 21 guest with 4 crew
