... 8217;s getting late into the Fall. However wonderful it is, the heavy evening dews may actually be worse than England’s rain for putting away a tent. Completely wet inside from condensation in the cool night air, as well as wet outside from the dew, we are always packing a soaked tent. That and the mosquitos are ever-present again. Just had to add a few negatives so all my Canadian friends burried under snow don't get too jealous ;)

Raggamuffin for a week

... instant. Last time I saw these people, we were playing kiss tag while drinking chocolate milk and now we were dancing and drinking beer. I think we missed a few steps but that's okay. We spent a few hours at a bar in town and then the 2 sober kids drove us to a night club. There was this huge line but this one kid, Hadrien, just walks up to the bouncer and next thing we're in. I begrundgingly cough up the 13 euro it costs to get in (you do ...

Waste of a day

What a waste of a day...

Go to Nimes and the national parks people said..... we ended up at a campsite way out of Montpellier and the highlight of our day had been the supermarket!!!!

The national park was lots of farm type marsh land... not what we had imagined. Nimes seemed pretty and lots of well preserved Roman things but the traffic was a nightmare and too hard to park so we kept driving with a plan to go out in Montpellier that ...

Two Fine Meals

... full of flavour. For the second course I had a seafood dish and Alison had a beef stew on mashed potatoes (looked very simple but Alison said it tasted "Divine!"). My seafood dish had a variety of shellfish in their shells, and other seafood, and was delicious. Our desserts were a mousse made with raspberries, and soft meringues floating in thin custard (the descriptions do not do these dishes any justice at all).

The cost had ...

Despite our fatigue, we walked up to the top of Mount Cavalier which is part of the garden to Tour Magne, a tower that was once part of the city walls and was also built by Augustus. Having viewed many views, we opted not to pay to climb up the tower steps.

We wended our way home, both ...

... is hands down my favorite way to travel. At first, it seems very intimidating, but you meet so many people so quickly. I had pictured myself being alone for the whole time, but honestly, I have not had a single dinner alone. The idea of eating alone is not even an option because there are so many people to hang out with. What is also very cool about traveling is that all the people you meet are mildly interesting ...

Our First Week in the South of France

... for a walk around town as the place was very well lit up and then back to the bar at our hotel for a beer whilst watching france and italy in the soccer. The following morning we had a nice breakfast and then headed for a walk around town till noon. We decided instead of driving back the way we came to push on through to Spain before looping around back into France. We stopped along the coast for another swim in the Mediterran this time the water was ...

Arrival whole!

... french tasting palette in my life here and loved the city. For the first time in my life I was awakened by roosters at the crack of dwn literally and started my day out early. Their huge street market was amazing and I saw the cutest little old woman pick pocket é boy with little taps on their behinds. They are sneaky and quick! The french people of this town were so nice and helpful, and I loved my stay and viewing of this amazing city. Even those crazy little old woman.

... aburrirme. Si, soy una cafetera, es verdad, pero comentarios como che bellu café ya no me bastaban. Sentia la necesidad de viajar. Me habian ensennado algo del mundo, pero yo queria ver mas. Y me escapé. Cafetera "Sono nata in qualche stabilimento, forse in China, forse a Forcella, non lo so. Ho vissuto i primi mesi della mia vita in una scatola.
