    ... more of the leaves changing. It's so beautiful to be watching Mother Nature changing her clothing right before our eyes. Mostly it is the undergrowth of African Sumac that has changed her petticoat to a burgundy red, but there are plenty of yellow, orange and red highlights starting to streak her apparel now as well.

    ... river and the St. Lawrence Seaway with Lake Ontario. In the wintertime, the canal freezes over and becomes the world's longest skating rink. We took a tour of the beautiful Parliament Buildings (a short 45 minute wait) and then enjoyed a delicious Vietnamese lunch near the downtown farmer's market, open year round.
