... to fight the ticket machine first to get a ticket. Worth the fight. Copenhagen is a city of cyclists. The streets have wide and protected bike lanes, separate signal lights for cars, bikes and pedestrians, and bike racks everywhere. The metro and local trains have dedicated cars to accommodate the transport of bicycles. After a good look around the market we find a place for a vino which we try to enjoy but we are surrounded by smoke and find it very difficult. What we noticed about this castle was that it was very dark which was unusual as it was supposed to be a summer palace. The walls were very dark, and the furniture very large, and huge tapestry on the walls. We were told they did this to try and keep the rooms warmer in winter. The same tapestries are still on the wall.

We were wondering why there were guards walking around the castle carrying guns, but ...
