Woke up to another beautiful day. Hotel Pavillon had been excellent and a great place to relax for the night. Dinner was a 5 course meal with great wine to celebrate harriet's birthday. See the picture from our room window. It is going to be very difficult leaving here to get on the path again. Such a quaint and modern town. ... in every direction. Mont Blanc's summit is right next to the Aguille, and we sat watching groups of climbers making their way up to the summit. When it came time to leave, we had to drag ourselves away from the view. However, the weather was supposed to change, and we had to move on anyway. Next stop was Beaune, in the Burgundy wine region. A beautiful old city that owes ...
