... streets and some clear and sane mind, we found a camping site to park our RV in spend a night....
I found Zaragoza very quiet town. It's got a big cathedral and a square in front of it, statue of Goya and few other nice things.
But at night it's completely different. Lots of people on the streets, bars start filling at 7 p.m. and are full until 3 a.m. So, for us it was - Party time!!!
... hostel, to use the internet for a bit. Sitting next to me was this cute Spanish senorita, who ended up not even being a Spanish senorita. Funny how I was constantly trying to sneak a better peek, but couldn't without being too obvious, given that I was sitting right next to her. So all of a sudden she goes "Where exactly are you from?" Surprising, because given my appearance, not many make the immediate assumption that I speak any Spanish, and funny ...
Zaragoza, Aragón, Spain and Canary Islands pwong... the way for Canada, there is a squiggly over the n.
The GPS won’t accept the address I had for a campground so when we get to Zaragoza so we decide to go into the town. We see 4 spires, it is either a church or a mosque, I think the first. Lucky choice of turn-offs as we end up right at the Church.
We find a parking spot and walk back across the river to look at the beautiful church ...
Boring long day on the A23, highest col 1223m.
Looking for aire in Zaragoza when Brits James, Clare and Katie in their motorhome took us under their wing to the park they'd already stayed in. Left over from 2008 water based expo, with typically spanish rusty iron "sculpture".
35 degree C until light shower cooled us all off.
Bren washed her hair in the public drinking fountain, starting a trend with the other family.
... a look around the median (centre of town, mostly with local market), getting out of this town was difficult we had to stop the traffic at points, move rubbish bins out of the way also move taxis along the street as the truck couldn't turn the corner. We then headed to Chefchaouen which is set in the Rift Mountain's so very chilly at night we spent a full day down town in the median it was market day so a lot of fruit and vegetables, you can normally find anything you want in all ...
Spain, Portugal, West Africa, Spain kirstenian... whatever but apart from the occasional ******** (who is always out) no one is getting bevvie up looking to do someone over just because they brushed past them in a bar or they have got too much sauce on their kebab, i may seem as though i am exaggerating but i am telling you, live 3 years in London and then Madrid and then tell me that i am wrong. Friends... , jesus i have met some really good people in madrid, mind you i did in london as well even though i half of them ...
Zaragoza, Aragón, Spain and Canary Islands elrigster... years old built of dry fit stone and stil standing: From Zaragoza we travelled ,ore easterly toward Lleida Catalan. Amongst the ochre coloured rocks and mist blue with mountain ranges were immense wind farms. Turbines and tozers several hundreds of feet high. Onward our lovely 1 litre Fiat Punta purred toward LLieda.
Lliedia, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands hollingersI woke up about 9am, my latest start for about a week, and hauled myself downstairs to check out, before dragging myself three kilometres to Delicias train station to get a reservation on the evening train to Madrid. After some frenzied negotiation with a friendly woman who spoke no English I managed to secure myself a seat on the 14.32 train instead. I'd still get to Madrid that day, but it sadly left me just over four hours to explore the Aragonese capital ...
Zaragoza, Spain englishanddrunk... about it but none of them would talk to her for very long. Trouble is contagious, I guess, and they didn't want to be mixed up in it. Since I wasn't with her this weekend it was easier for me to support her now but I know Sr. Morse is going to call me into his office-oh well. At least I don't have to lie! Okay sorry that this is all about DC and Natalie but I was with her for hours today so it's all that's on my mind. Hasta luego!
Zaragoza, Spain vholmes09... to stay. I was very fond of his work, so following in the footsteps of this American Nobel laureate was definitely interesting to me. In short, Pamplona was a city that evoked a mystical, charming, romantic appeal to me. Its ancient streets and festive atmosphere, together, with its exemplary northern Spanish cuisine, made it one of my all-time favorite places in the world. THURSDAY, Sep. 28, 2006, BRIONES and LOGROÑO, SPAIN Today, we left Lodosa together in a private ...
