Very nice accommodations facing the water. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in locating an ancestral home.

So we arrived in Aarhus about 9am, and felt suprisingly fresh. It was pouring rain so we stayed in the train station and explored the shopping centre there while waiting for it to subside. Maiken is lovely and was up for a chat, as she was meeting her ex husband and daughter for a day out. We eventually said our goodbyes ...

I'll write about my thoughts and experiences, make you jealous with beautiful pictures, and upload everything when/if we reach civilisation and wifi. If we don't, I'm going to upload it all, when I get home, and then there'll be reading material for a few ...

They ride their beautiful bikes everywhere instead of driving and the Danes have been given the title of 'The Happiest People in the World' on a number of occassions. Yesterday, for my last full day in Denmark, Frederik took me to see Den Gamle By, an open-air museum, which is a collection of 75 houses brought from all over Denmark. These houses date back to ...

After bedding down next to a path by a bird sanctuary, I awake to continue down the coast to the ferry. I replace my first tyre, and notice that my rugged offroad tyres now resemble racing superslicks. The weather has cleared up, I make camp about 14k from the Ebeltoft ferry in some woods. In other news, I have begun talking to my bicycle. I have named him 'squeak'. I buy some chain lube to shut him up.
