    ... It's past has also been dependent on salt - hence Salzburg, salt castle or fortress. There is a magnificent medieval castle, Hohensalzburg Fortress which sits high atop the town. The journey to the top is well worth it in terms of views but also in being able to wander around a huge medieval keep.     ... pineapple kebab. Whilst Marion was asleep David was given spring rolls. The crew were very attentive without being over the top. We had good sized TV screen and it was easy to work.     ... market, which is 90% food and produce - The Naschmarkt, and enjoyed exploring that. We bought very little besides a huge chunk of watermelon, which the stall holder kindly chopped up and wrapped for us, so we could consume it along the way.
