          ... stayed for two nights so were able to catch up on some washing.

          Early Saturday morning we travelled in to explore Lucerne which has a population of around 50,000.           ... t actually included in our lunchtime cruise. Sorry?? Hmmm very good at the fine print these Swiss. No wonder people trust them with the "secret" bank accounts.

          The lake cruise, which really is just the normal ferry, was nice and relaxing with great views of the flash houses, green hills and mountains in the distance.

          ... I couldn't find it right away, so we did a few loops around before I finally saw the entrance. It was a gorgeous hotel but they need a bigger sign! We checked in, and then safely deposited the car in an underground car park across the street. It was still early and the sun was shining, so we figured that we'd explore the city now rather than wait until tomorrow.

          ... I'm going to breakfast since our train leaves in 25 minutes." I start laughing which wakes up the girls on the other side of the room, and I tell him that its only 6.
