    ... stuffed ravioli's. And then also some more wine, of course. After we ate, we went to see 52,000 legs of ham hung in the factory. So happy we went to see those AFTER we ate because it was so smelly, but I really do love prosciutto. A lot like parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto de parma is specific to only that region. If it is made elsewhere in a different way, it is just plain old prosciutto.

    ... WW2 and has been renovated to what it was in its glory days.

    The gallery beneath it has a wealth of treasures in it.... including a whole set of rooms dedicated to Correggio and Parmigianino.     ... Siena, Bologna, even Urbino, could all be described in a few words. But not Parma. There are few obviously welcoming bars and restaurants for instance, few obviously historic buildings, and few glaringly obvious landmarks or piazzas that everyone will meet at.
