... we had to wait another 50 minutes for a 7 minute trip. Fortunately the directions to our B & B were easy (but all up hill). The Duke would not have been pleased. We visited yet another ...

We are looking forward to what I am sure will be a delicious dinner. But we did more than just eat today. We visited the Cathedral with its gorgeous frescoes covering practically 100% of the walls and ceilings, the Baptistry which is reminiscent of the ones in Pisa ...

... but was fall apart tender and delicious. I had tuna rolled in crisp filo with just s touch of wasabi and candied tomatoes. Heaven! Then a sampling of 3ages of Parmesan cheese. A basil sorbet to cleanse the palate. Finally, I had a glass of Muscat and Brian had a pear in custard dessert. And of course, a bottle of wine. The pace was wonderfully slow...we were there for 3 hours but it seemed to be just about right. It is 10:30 the next morning and I am still full and ...
