Finally Fatima
Well, not quite what I expected. A huge piazza, bigger than St Peters in Rome with modern buildings. A huge cathedral - super modern, Lisa said it could hold 10,000 people, not sure where she got that figure from but it certainly felt like it. We bought a 60cm beeswax candle and lit it. Then proceeded to the spot where Mary was said to have appeared before the three children. We saw two separate women circumnavigating the spot in their knees whilst a mass was said for ...

Spent the rest of the day just looking around the town. Not sure what we will do tomorrow but I'm sure something interesting will ...
Piri Pir chicken!
... that designed the San Francisco iconic bridge, and it looks exactly the same! The only difference is that San Francisco Bridge is longer and allows pedestrian crossing, Lisbon's doesn’t although it does have a train line that runs along it. The bridge is huge and really cool just look at! We rode all along the foreshore to the Belem tower, dedicated to 1400’s ocean victories. Then feeling hungry we chose ...
