... entered Illinois. The state line was whilst crossing the bridge. The state sign was again troublesome as it was on the end of a sheer drop so no posing infront. Barry risked life and limb and cycled some place to take our photo by the actual state sign.
Quincy is big (40,000 population) and cycled past some impressive houses. Popped for shake after cycle. Went to Chinese buffet, shovelled some food, back to hotel and well this is where you find me. Digesting. Ahhh
... decided to find a campsite in the area and visit the graveyard and little town.
We are camped on Crab Orc***********al Wildlife Preserve beside Crab Orchard Lake.
I spent the afternoon fishing (not even a bite) and watching Meatball swim and charge all over the lake front. A nice steak and glass of vino on the outdoor grill made for a nice day!
