... and glass case and covered by a cloth for protection. But is was pleasant to sit and contemplate this piece of history with out a crowd. So still not sure what the queue was for! some art exhibition possibly.

While we have been touring around Italy Nic has been sailing hard at the 125 National titles, in Tumby Bay SA and he skippered his boat to an impressive 6th position overall. Well done to Nic & his crew. Watch out next year with the new boat and home ...

courtyard providing us with a secure place to keep the bike
overnight. Mozart and Napoleon had stayed there. We were shortly
out on the town though, with no real agenda which made for a much
      more relaxing stroll. ...

Day 294 2 hrs, 3.4 kms I thought I could catch a train from Bra on east to Asti, but no... I have to backtrack a long ways and make a big looparound unfortunately. This really sets me behind and I suddenly realize that if I'm going to visit both Asti and Allessandra provinces today, I'm going to have to make this a very short visit. ...

      1776. A Town Named Bra

Day 294 2 hrs, 3.6 kms Of course I've got to check out a town with a name like this! I get off the train just as high school students get out for lunch break and join a crowd of them in a doner shop for a sandwich shop. Nice town to wander around in, with part of the city up on a ridge, with some castle like homes... and yes, you can buy a bra in Bra, in case you were ...
