Booked a boat trip last night to Grotta Di Nettuno which is a large cave down the coast line at Cape Caccia. We boarded at the wharf in Alghero for a 30 minute trip past some white sandy beaches, flash beach resorts and high rises and high cliffs.

Once we got there they cleverly unfolded the plank and we walked into the mouth of the cave. It was quite an amazing space in there with ...

We slept in this morning, got up late from being over tired as the twisty roads really take it out of you! Both of us have to be vigilant watching out for sudden speeding motorists and roads to nowhere as well as the lunatics!

... We leave here again tomorrow morning for our last night in Sardinia. We take a ferry to Corsica Sunday morning. It sounds like it's about an hour to get to Corsica.

We walked to the old town after getting laundry done. There wasn't a whole lot to see (just old Medieval streets, busy piazzas, battlemented walls, …). We went into a couple of churches and ...

    ... as a church.

Before heading back to the car we stopped to share a sandwich and had a beer. We had almost a three hour drive to our next destination. We drove through some really pretty villages. We saw a least two that had gorgeous murals on the buildings depicting life in the area. It's mostly farmland on the hills with lots of cows and sheep. We climbed a couple of times to almost 3,000 feet, ...
