My husband and I traveled to the Grand Mayan Resort in may, 2014 for a week's vacation. We were asked to attend a breakfast the next morning, "to acquaint us with the property". Unfortunately we said "yes." We had no intention of buying a Timeshare and made that perfectly clear To VIDA. I'm going to try my luck with the lottery draw approach...apparently you go to the venue 2.5 hours before the show, write your name ...
... delicious. I walked away from there a very satisfied customer.
After this I waved down a taxi to take me to my next destination. It was roughly a twenty minute drive which resulted in a cab fee of $18.58. The taxi drvier was a very friendly and knowledgeable man. As we drove, he continued to teach me all the history and facts about NYC. My experience of the taxi drivers of New York has been very pleasant, and I would advise anyone to do ...
