The forecast is not good for the first part of the day but it's supposed to be clearing up around lunch time. We decide to delay our start hoping to avoid the worst. The Raven buzzes up from Nimes in good heart heading for Grenoble and then on into Switzerland. The temperature is noticeably colder and it's amazing to be so quickly away from the hot centre of Spain. Today I woke to my iPad ringing, dad was skyping, I forgot he was doing that. ... fresco painted buildings bordering the old city are amazing to view and marvel at the workmanship that has gone into producing these. With temperatures dropping and fog settling we decide to make for the afternoon train back to Zurich happy that we made it to this beautiful town. Our only disappointment was the level of fog that hindered any hope we had of getting some fantastic views of the mountains that surround the town. Oh ...

... when I caught the tram in the wrong direction and had assumed at the time that it would no doubt come up in the travel literature... but it hadn't. Still curious, I headed back to where I had seen it. There were no signs boasting about anything up the top but it none the less seemed to be ferrying car loads of funky young folk up the side of a steep mountain. I ascertained that my travel pass was valid for use on it so I figured the best way to find ...
