We are slowly getting adjusted to our 6 hour difference with all kids waking up in the middle of the night. We had our window open and Wyatt's cries were easy to hear. Last night was dinner on an outside open area in town and appreciated after airline gastric distress food.

We were a bit slow in our morning departure but thanks to Jesse …

... or a beer and while it was appreciated by the hosts, it was never expected. People on Couchsurfing have profiles (just like air BNB or Facebook) and are reviewed by their hosts or guests, so whether you're a guest or host, you can get a feel for who you may want to connect with. A good lesson I have now learned, it's not rude to decline if it makes me feel sick, my well being is more important than someone getting offended when I don't accept a refill. I couldn't even begin to look at food! The feeling quickly passed, after we layer in the sun and enjoyed that spring had finally sprung. Happy Easter was the theme for ...

Bern is the capital city of Switzerland and has a population of around 138,000, making it the fifth most populous city in Switzerland. In 1983 the old town (Altstadt) of Bern was declared a UNESCO world heritage site, and Bern is ranked among the worlds top ten cities for quality of life. Bern is my personal favourite when it comes to the cities of Switzerland. It has wonderful character and the old city is quite magnificent with stunning views from the Rose Garden on the opposite ...
